“I have worked at Jacob’s Creek for 28 years. I began as a supply clerk and then became a GCA. I took the necessary classes to become a CNA and medication aide and was subsequently promoted to medical records. I’ve witnessed numerous changes in the skilled nursing facility over the years, especially with the new regulations. However, one thing remains constant – we are here to serve the residents, and we feel honored to provide the care and fulfill the needs of so many wonderful residents.”

“I’ve been employed at Jacob’s Creek for 23 years as a dietary aide in the kitchen. I had to bring my own husband here as a patient. The staff provided excellent care and offered valuable guidance on insurance and caregiver training. I cherish the daily interactions with the residents, but what means the most to me is that when I urgently needed to find a facility for my husband’s short-term rehabilitation, my work family stepped up and came to my rescue. I will forever be grateful.”

“I’ve been a part of Jacob’s Creek for 25 years. It’s unusual for a healthcare worker to stay at the same facility for such an extended period, but I truly love what I do. I began as an LPN and later advanced to an RN after completing the necessary courses. I find immense satisfaction in helping our residents. I hold deep affection for each resident and every staff member. We’re like one big, happy family, all working toward the same goals. I believe that I was placed in this building because I would feel blessed to work with such wonderful residents, families, and staff.”
